Affordable Skies Supports Bipartisan Effort to Fund FAA Safety and Modernization

Affordable Skies joined fellow members of the Modern Skies Coalition in releasing a unified statement urging the U.S. House and Senate to pass the Fiscal Year 2026 Transportation, Housing and Urban Development (THUD) appropriations bill. Coalition members emphasized that the legislation is critical to ensuring sustained investment in the Federal Aviation Administration’s safety and modernization priorities and to avoiding future funding disruptions, such as government shutdowns.

The coalition also recognized bipartisan leadership in both chambers for advancing the bill and underscored the importance of predictable, long-term funding for essential aviation infrastructure and services that travelers rely on every day.
