Dr. Nicole Bier serves as Vice Chair of the Affordable Skies Board and is the Director of Aviation Resources and Logistics at Silent Falcon UAS Technologies, where she oversees engagement efforts.

She is a U.S. Air Force Academy graduate and former U.S. Air Force Captain, U.S. Army civilian, as well as Associate Professor with Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University. She served as an Intelligence Officer and a Chief of Acquisitions Program Manager for $12B GPS Space Systems. She contributed to the U.S. Army Training and Doctrine Command global threat perspective through intelligence analysis of uncrewed aircraft systems.

 

Dr. Bier also served as a dissertation chair for patented capabilities that support the U.S. Department of War. Dr. Bier is passionate about education and aviation, serving as a volunteer substitute teacher for K-5 and takes pride in being a lifelong learner, educator and mentor. She is also a member of the Aviation Education Committee for the National Association of State Aviation Officials.
