Luis Lama, Ambassador Lead

Luis Lama serves as the Lead Ambassador for Affordable Skies, helping strengthen traveler engagement and expand the organization's outreach across the aviation community. Passionate about making international travel more accessible, he is committed to reducing the cost and complexity of travel while supporting travelers through education and advocacy.

Born in Lima, Peru, and raised in Texas, Luis earned dual bachelor's degrees in Corporate Communication & Public Affairs and Psychology from Southern Methodist University, along with a minor in Philosophy. He later completed a Master of Arts in Missiology from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary after serving a mission in South America.

In 2020, Luis founded a ministry-focused travel agency specializing in international travel for churches and missionary organizations. Under his leadership, the agency has earned both IATA and ARC accreditation and established private airline partnerships to better serve faith-based organizations across North America.

Luis is an active leader within the travel industry, serving on the Dallas Chapter Board of the American Society of Travel Advisors (ASTA). Through his work with Affordable Skies and the travel industry, he is dedicated to helping travelers navigate air travel with greater confidence and affordability.

Luis and his wife, Stephanie, live in Richardson, Texas, with their three daughters, seven chickens, and their dog, Holly. Outside of work, he enjoys basketball, carpentry projects, strength training, traveling, and discovering great tacos with family and friends.
