Jodie Moxley-Ramos is a senior political strategist and government relations executive with nearly three decades of experience advising organizations on navigating Congress, the Administration, and complex public policy issues. Her expertise includes aviation, defense, trade, procurement and supply chain policy, and emerging technologies.

 

Most recently, Jodie served as Vice President of Congressional Affairs at Ligado Networks, where she advised executive leadership on legislative and regulatory strategy involving aviation safety, spectrum policy, and national security. She led Capitol Hill engagement efforts, built strategic alliances across the aviation and aerospace sectors, and is widely respected for her ability to translate complex technical issues into effective public policy strategies.

Prior to Ligado, Jodie spent more than a decade at Airbus U.S., serving as the company's lead commercial lobbyist on legislative, regulatory, trade, manufacturing, and procurement issues affecting both commercial and defense aviation. She developed and led Airbus's federal and state government relations strategy, working closely with Congress, the Federal Aviation Administration, Department of Transportation, Department of Defense, and other federal agencies. She also played a key role in supporting Airbus's U.S. manufacturing expansion in Alabama and advised executive leadership on political risk and long-term policy strategy.

Earlier in her career, Jodie held leadership and policy roles with BAE Systems, the U.S. Department of State, Edelman Public Relations, the League of Women Voters, The Freedom Forum, and the President's Council on Y2K Conversion. She began her career on Tipper Gore's scheduling and advance team during the 1996 presidential campaign.

Jodie remains active in aviation and civic leadership and has served for many years on the Board of Directors of the International Aviation Club. She holds a master's degree in Political Management from The George Washington University and a Bachelor of Arts from St. Lawrence University.

As a member of the Affordable Skies Advisory Council, Jodie brings extensive experience in aviation policy, government relations, and strategic leadership, helping advance the organization's mission of strengthening the role of traveler voices in the future of aviation.
